El objetivo principal de esta investigaci\uf3n fue establecer los cambios ocurridos despu\ue9s de dos a\uf1os de implementaci\uf3n de la Norma T\ue9cnica Sectorial NTS-TS 001 expedida por ICONTEC e implementada en el Centro Hist\uf3rico de Cartagena con el prop\uf3sito de mejorar los servicios tur\uedsticos y con ello la imagen de la ciudad. El dise\uf1o de la investigaci\uf3n fue de enfoque descriptivo y corresponde al tipo cualitativo; se bas\uf3 en el an\ue1lisis de la situaci\uf3n actual de los prestadores de servicios tur\uedsticos junto con los dem\ue1s actores de la cadena productiva, incluyendo a la academia, a partir de la observaci\uf3n directa, entrevistas y fotograf\uedas del sector. Como resultados se tiene que el destino tur\uedstico, cuenta actualmente con m\ue1s de 120 planes articulados para fortalecer el sistema de gesti\uf3n para la sostenibilidad; 40 Planes ambientales, 50 Planes socioculturales y 30 Planes Econ\uf3micos, se han alcanzado diversos logros como el cumplimiento de la ley 1453 (2011) C\uf3digo Penal, el C\uf3digo de Infancia y Adolescencia, la ley 99 (1993) de Ambiente y el Decreto Reglamentario del Sector Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible, con el acompa\uf1amiento del Establecimiento P\ufablico Ambiental, la Polic\ueda Ambiental y la Alcald\ueda. Se concluye que el Centro Hist\uf3rico de Cartagena ha tenido un impacto favorable a partir de la implementaci\uf3n de la norma NTS-TS-001-1 del ICONTEC, tanto a nivel ambiental, cultural como de inclusi\uf3n, se resalta el cierre de la no conformidad referente a la actividad de Coches de Turismo en el Centro Hist\uf3rico y la Escuela Internacional de Verano.

ABSTRACT
The main objective of this research was to establish the changes occurred after two years of implementation of Sectorial Technical Standard NTS-TS 001 issued by ICONTEC and implemented in the Historic Center of Cartagena with the purpose of improving tourist services and with it the image from the city. The design of the research was descriptive and corresponds to the qualitative type; It was based on the analysis of the current situation of tourism service providers together with the other actors in the production chain, including the academy, based on direct observation, interviews and photographs of the sector. As a result, the tourist destination has more than 120 plans to strengthen the management system for sustainability; 40 Environmental Plans, 50 Sociocultural Plans and 30 Economic Plans, various achievements have been achieved such as compliance with Law 1453 (2011) Penal Code, the Childhood and Adolescence Code, Law 99 (1993) on Environment and the Regulatory Decree of the Environment and Sustainable Development Sector, with the support of the Public Environmental Establishment, the Environmental Police and the Mayor's Office. It is concluded that the Historic Center of Cartagena has had a favorable impact from the implementation of the norm NTS-TS-001-1 of ICONTEC, both environmental, cultural and inclusion, highlights the closure of the nonconformity reference to the activity of Tourist Cars in the Historical Center and the International Summer School.
