: Metacognitive skill is required for improving students\u27 learning outcome. To enhance the metacognitive skill, it can be done through reciprocal teaching model. This study aims at examining the influence of mind map assisted reciprocal teaching toward students\u27 metacognitive and learning outcome. This study used semi-experimental design using non-randomized control group pretest-posttest. This study was conducted within Senior High School whose students possess a low level of metacognitive skill. The result of this study showed that mind map assisted reciprocal teaching influences the students\u27 metacognitive skill. In addition, there is a difference within the metacognitive skill and learning outcome between students who learn using mind map assisted reciprocal teaching and conventional learning
