Hubungan Antara Kecerdasan Emosi Dengan Aktualisasi Diri

Abstract

The need of the highest human hierarchy is self-actualization. With the limits (internal) and (external), emotional intelligence in a person is very influential in living everyday life and for the process to achieve self-actualization. The samples in this study were 94 people. The sampling technique using Cluster Random Sampling with every class XII available was scrambled and then drawn 3 classes as sample. This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence with self-actualization, knowing the level of emotional intelligence and the level of self-actualization using quantitative methods using measuring scale Self-Actualization and Emotional Intelligence scale, using Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis techniques. The result of analysis obtained correlation coefficient (r) equal to 0,674 and sig. (1-tailed) = 0,000; p <0.01. These results indicate a very significant positive relationship between emotional intelligence with self-actualization. Self-actualization in students of SMAN 2 Boyolali classified as high tend to be seen from empirical result (RE) equal to 118,13 and hypothetic average (RH) equal to 97,5 and Emotional Intelligence also classified tends to be high seen from empirik mean (RE) equal to 127 , 10 and hypothetical average (RH) of 110. Contribution of emotional intelligence on the students for self-actualization of 45.43% so there are 54.57% other factors that can affect self-actualization in students SMAN 2 Boyolali other than from influence on emotional intelligence
