Abstract

Activities that require high concentration and attention in order to master and control the motor vehicle on the road is the main task of the driver. The workload and severe fatigue that can cause accidents, so the driver must always be in a state of alert. The aim of research to find out the difference between mental workload and fatigue in the driver travel using RNASA-TLX method for mental workload and IFRC to fatigue. Mental workload measurement results obtained travel driver RNASA-TLX score shift of 72.22 in the morning and shift an afternoon at 74.28 so that both are categorized as moderate mental workload due to the value obtained < 80. The biggest factor affecting the mental work load based on the dimensions ie measured time demands, the mental demands, and visual demands. While the level of job burnout IFRC obtained a score shift of 67.75 in the morning and shift an afternoon at 69.55 so that both are categorized as level of job burnout were obtained IFRC score < 76. Results of statistical testing bytest t for mental workload there are differences in the shift morning and the shift, afternoon while fatigue was no difference shift in the morning and shift an afternoon
