Background: In pregnant women there is a physiological and hormonal changes due to pregnancy. These changes have an impact on the occurrence of a pathological nature of posture changes that cause fatigue in the lower back
muscles that will cause the occurrence of pain.
Objective: To know the effect of Myofascial Release on low back pain in pregnant women aged 6-8 months in Mranggen Village.
Methods: The research used was pre-experimental with the One Group Pretest-posttest Design. The sample used is 15 people. The sample was given Myofascial Release intervention on the back for 40 minutes, 2 times a week for
2 weeks. Measurement of lower back pain with Visual Analogue Scale (VAS).
Results: The results showed that the mean value of pre-test pain pain was 1,833 post-test value 0,4600. The average value of pre-test pain 3,1000 post-test value
1,0733. And mean pre-test motion pain 4,1533 post-test value 1,8067.
Conclusion: There is a significant effect of Myofascial Release on lower back
pain of 6-8 months with p = 0,000
