The Bulldozer is a heavy-duty tractor type vehicle with a chain and equipped with a blade located in front. This heavy equipment is used for the word of digging, pushing, displacing and pulling material (soil, sand,etc) The purpose of this final proect is to find out the valve damage in caterpillar D8R bulldozer machine along with the improvement that must be done. Valve damage inspection procedure is visual inspection, visual inspection is done by checking the valve whether the valve is in good condition or bad. In order to find out which one is having problem and after knowing the problem then disassembly is done to know the damage experienced. The result of the analysis shows that the problem that occurs on the machine is the engine component of the suction valve and the exhaust valve that has been damaged or no longer standard and must be repaired or replaced with standard operational procedure that is on the sution valve has a connection of 1.7 mm with service limit 2,2 mm and for the exhaust valve has a2.0 mm connection with a 2,5 mm service limi
