The Effect Of Question-Answer Relationship Strategy On Reading Skill Through The Student's Motivation In The Marketing Department XI Grade At SMKN 1 Surakarta
The main purposes of this research are: (1) To know whether teaching reading using Question-Answer Relationship Strategy (QAR) gives better result on the students' reading skill in Marketing Department of XI SMKN 1 Surakarta in Academic Year 2017/2018, (2) To find out whether teaching reading using Question-Answer Relationship (QAR) gives positive influence on the student’ learning motivation of Marketing majors in class XI SMKN 1 Surakarta in Academic Year 2017/2018,and (3) To know whether there is a correlation between reading skill and student motivation in improving students' reading skill of Marketing Class XI SMKN 1 Surakarta in Academic Year of 2017/2018.The model used in this research is experimental model. The total population of this study is 240 students of class XI SMKN 1 Surakarta 2017/2018 school year. While the sample used in this study a total of 57 students from 2 classes, namely class XI Marketing 1 and XI Marketing 2. data collection techniques in this study using the test reading text procedure and kuesionnaire motivasi.teknik data analysis used is Two Way ANOVA.The results of this study resulted in the conclusion that: (1) QAR strategy is effective to improve students' reading ability. (2) QAR strategy is effective to improve students' learning motivation in reading learning. (3) There is a relationship between QAR strategy and student motivation in improving students' reading ability
