Towards an integrated mangement model for the bibliographic heritage of an institution: the case of the Banco de España. An overview of the experience of the Banco de España Library around the so-called Special Value Fund (FEV) is presented. This collection is composed by over 16,000 items dated between the fourteenth and twentieth centuries, mainly on Economics, but also on Law and Politics. In recent years, several initiatives have been launched in order to improve its development, identification, valuation, conservation, preservation and dissemination. These projects, which cover almost all aspects of the management of a heritage type bibliographic collection, lead us to consider the appropriateness of adopting an integrated point of view in its management, designing the necessary procedures and tools
