The aim of this analytical study was to investigate the association of social security feeling and
Demographic factors in women heading households of Qazvin in 2014. The study subjects were 310
women heads of households selected by random sampling method. Data were collected through a
standardized questionnaire for social security feeling. Mean communication security score was
2.13. Mean emotional, physical, and financial security scores were 2.71, 2.54, and 2.27,
respectively. Mean social security score was 2.41 in women heading households. The association of
heads’ income, family size, and heads’ education level with social security feeling was statistically
significant. It seems that providing free consultation is effective to increase communication security
in women heading households and providing job opportunities appropriate for their financial needs
