NORSK:
Problemstillingen deles inn i to forskningsspørsmål.
støtte, bekrefte, vise toleranse og aksept for hverandre.ENGELSK: The purpose is to reveal the experiences and stories of the users at the Activity Center.
The issue is How do the users and the employees at the Activity Center communicate
“recognition” in the meeting of each other?
The issue is divided into two researchquestions:
1. Do the users of the Activity Center utilize the conception “recognition” in their
everyday language and what do they, if that is the case, signify by it?
2. How do the users experience and describe how to give and receive recognition? The
study is based on an ethnographic approach.
I have used participational observations and five interviews in the Activity Center
within a period of two years.
The study shows that users and employees make use of the term recognition in the daily
language and knows what the term signify. Recognition was communicated between
users and staff and users in between by listening to each other, and by supporting,
confirming as well as showing tolerance and acceptance for each other
