Az elit szerepe a kora újkori városi vezetésben és az elit tagjainak társadalmi kapcsolatai, 15-17. század = The Role of the Elite in Early Modern Urban Leadership and the Social Network of Its Members, 15-17. Century

Abstract

A kutatócsoport a projekt futamideje alatt Pozsony, Sopron, Besztercebánya, Kassa, Kolozsvár és Nagyszeben vezető elitjét kutatta fel a 15. század végétől a 16. század végéig. Kassa és Sopron esetében azt az elitet tárta fel, amely a 17–18. század fordulójának várospolitikai változásait elszenvedte vagy irányította. Azt az új várospolitikai elitet mutattuk be tehát, amelyik a 17–18. század fordulóján a szakszerű, közigazgatásban jártas elitté vált. Összesen tehát hat város egyidejű vizsgálatát végezzük el, amire a magyar várostörténet-írásban még nem volt példa. A kutatás során megismertük a kapcsolatháló-elemzés új módszereit és problémáit. A módszert kellő tapasztalattal tudjuk alkalmazni a feltárt források elemzése során. A projekt eredményeként a résztvevő doktorandusok közül Kuzma Dóra és Goda Károly disszertációja elkészült, a külön-külön is megszületett disszertációk és tanulmányok egymás számára nyújtanak megfelelő összehasonlítást. A projekt eredményeit a magyar mellett a német nyelvterületen, valamint az angolszász irodalom számára tettük közzé. Az elkészült adatbázisokról internetes portált készítettünk, amely segítségével megalapoztuk egy várostörténeti kutatóbázis újszerű kapcsolattartási felületét, egyben elősegítjük a hasonló kutatásokat. | In the course of the project the research group explored the top level elite of Pozsony, Sopron, Besztercebánya, Kassa, Kolozsvár and Nagyszeben. They examined the period between the end of the 15th century and the end of the 16th century. In case of Sopron and Kassa they studied the elite which suffered or controlled the changes in town policy at the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries. We presented thus the new elite involved in town policy that became the professional expert elite in public administration. Altogether six towns are examined at once, which was unprecedented in Hungarian urban historiography in the past. In the course of researching we learned the new methods and problems of analyzing network of relations. This way we can employ the methods with sufficient practice while analyzing the explored sources. As a result of the project, out of the doctoral candidates, Dóra Kuzma and Károly Goda finished their dissertations, and the individual dissertations and studies provide proper comparison to each other. Besides Hungarian we released the project results for German language area and Anglo-Saxon literature as well. We made an Internet portal containing the finished databases, through which we established a new communication surface of a research centre of urban history and also facilitate similar researches at the same time
