This work describes the experience as part of the PLS Statistics project, coordinated by the University of Bari. You learn about the reasons and objectives that have been instrumental to give life to this project. In addition, the activities developed in the period 2010-2016 are described, some data concerning the participants (41 schools, 76 teachers and 687 students) and the titles of the works developed by the schools are presented along with some interesting results. The final considerations are a reflection of what has emerged from the experience gained during the performance period of the project
