Media in Music lessons

Abstract

Nagli razvoj tehnologije obuhvatio je i područje obrazovanja. Učitelji teže tome da nastavni proces bude što moderniji, suvremeniji i interesantniji učeniku te se pri tome koriste različitim medijima na nastavnim satima. Cilj istraživanja bio je otkriti kakva su iskustva djece nižih razreda osnovne škole s različitim medijima, koriste li se oni u okviru razredne nastave i kakav stav učenici i učitelji imaju prema njima. Tijekom mjeseca lipnja 2017. godine provedeno je istraživanje s učenicima i učiteljima o korištenju medija u nastavi glazbe. Istraživanju su pristupili 12 učiteljica razredne nastave Osnovne škole Frana Krste Frankopana iz Osijeka te 88 učenika od 1. do 4. razreda iste te škole. U istraživanju se pošlo od sljedećih istraživačkih pitanja: Koje medije učitelji koriste u pripremanju nastave glazbe? Koje medije učitelji koriste prilikom izvođenje nastave glazbe? Kakvo mišljenje učitelji imaju o korištenju različitih medija u nastavi glazbe? Što je učenicima interesantno,a što ne, na nastavi Glazbene kulture? Imaju li učenici naviku slušati/pjevati naučene pjesme/skladbe kod kuće?. Proučavajući rezultate istraživanja došlo se do zaključka da učitelji koriste medije u nastavi glazbe, razumiju prednosti korištenja medija u nastavnom procesu, ali su najviše ograničeni na računalo, projektor te udžbenik pomoću kojega obrađuju gotovo sva područja glazbe. Potrebno je informirati učitelje i o ostalim medijima te njihovim mogućnostima kako bi nastavu dodatno osuvremenili. S obzirom na odgovore učenika došlo se do zaključka da većina učenika u školi, ali i kod kuće još uvijek najčešće koristi udžbenik. Ukoliko učitelje dodatno informiramo o mogućnostima raznih medija, učenicima će nastava glazbe biti još zanimljivija i poučnija. Također, nastavnim područjima poput slušanja glazbe ili sviranja koja učenicima nisu omiljena treba pristupiti na drugačiji način, možda baš uporabom digitalnih medija i programa. Učenici vole nastavu Glazbene kulture, stoga trebamo težiti da se takav odnos učenika prema glazbi održi.Sudden development of technology happened educational sector as well. Teachers aim to make educational process modern, contemporary and interesting to their students and they use different media during the classes. The goal of the research was to discover what are the experiences of children in lower classes of primary school with different media, do they use them during the classes and what students and teachers think about them. During July 2017 a reasearch was made with students and teachers about using media in music classes. 12 teachers and 88 students of the primary school Fran Krsto Frankopan participated in the research. The research covered next questions: Which media do teachers use in preparing for the music classes? Which media do teachers use during the music classes? What is the opinion of teachers about using different media in the music classes? What is interesting tostudents and what is not during the music classes? Do students have a habit of listening/singing learned songs while they are at home?. By studying the results a conclusion was made that teachers use media during the music classes, they understand benefits of using media during the educational process, but they are limited to a computer, a projector and a textbook which they use in most of the parts of the music classes. It is important to educate teachers about different media and their possibilites so they can modernize the classes. Considering students' answers a conclusion was made that most the students at school and at home use textbooks. If we additionally inform tachers about possibilities of different media, students are going to find the music classes more interesting and more educational. Listening to music and playing music should be approached from a different view because students do not really enjoy in them, maybe with using digital media and programs. Student love the Music class so we should try to keep it that way
