Abstract
Activity of eight female rats of the species Rattus norvegicus was observed before and after feeding to determine if the feeding regime has an effect on the behaviour of rats. The analysis of the collected data has shown difference in the activity which may be connected with accessibility of food. The rats that were not fed showed more activity in the most of observed behaviour than the rats which were fed, because they spent the most of time in searching food. The group which was fed has shown more contacts between females like nibbling and less those which are connected with searching for food
