The verb trɜɨ in Khmer displays a wide range of uses and values which, as this analysis aims to show, can be given a unitary description. Based on a systematic description of the five main groups of uses ("necessity", "conformity", "detrimental", "passive" and "touch"), it is possible to formulate a set of syntactic and semantic constraints and regularities which account for this range of uses through postulation of a stable semantic identity for the verb.Le verbe trɜɨ en khmer présente une très grande diversité d'emplois. Cet article propose une étude "unitaire" de trɜɨ . Sur la base d'une description systématique des cinq grandes classes d'emplois ("nécessité", "conformité", "detrimental", "passif et "toucher"), il est possible de mettre en évidence un ensemble de contraintes et de régularités d'ordre syntaxique et sémantique qui rendent compte de la diversité des emplois du verbe trɜɨ tout en conservant l'identité sémantique stable du verbe.Deth Thach Joseph, Paillard Denis.
