У роботі розглянуто семантику слова-концепту чужина в українських народних піснях. Саме ця лексема стала об’єктом аналізу цієї статті. До лексико-семантичного поля чужина визначено типові дієслова, синонімічні вислови до лексеми. Український пісенний фольклор фіксує також зменшувальні форми слова-концепту чужина.
