This is a Turkish translation of Selçuk Akşin Somel's "Historical Dictionary of the Ottoman Empire." Second Edition(Lanham; Toronto; Plymouth, UK: Scarecrow Press, 2012). While being translated, the entries have been extended, and some new entries have been added. This dictionary is useful for undergraduate and graduate-level students
