Abstract
У статті проаналізовано наукові пошуки дослідників діалектного формотворення у плані вироблення оптимальних способів добору і представлення фактичного матеріалу; закцентовано увагу на необхідності системного підходу до вивчення словозмінної структури та обґрунтовано його переваги над диференційним описом. The article analyses the research works on dialectal word formation to elaborate the optimal methods of selecting and presenting the factual material; the emphasis is laid on the importance of the systemic approach to the study of modificational specifity of the Ukrainian dialects; the advantages of this kind of approach over the differential description are demonstrated
