Synthesis of tenascin and laminin beta2 chain in human bronchial epithelial cells is enhanced by cysteinyl leukotrienes via CysLTreceptor-2

Abstract

not with LTE(B) for 48 h. RT-PCR analysis detected increased expression of Ln β2 chain mRNA in response to 100 nM LTD(D), but no effect with either LTE(D) or TGF-β(E). The increase in response to LTDwas concentration-dependent. The data were quantified by densitometry and are expressed as fold increases above non-stimulated cells (mean ± SEM) (n = 12). *p < 0.05 and ***p < 0.001 vs. non-stimulated cells. C: Immunoperoxidase immunocytochemistry for Ln β2 chain showing no definite expression of Ln β2 chain by non-stimulated control cells with a slight increase after treatment with both LTDand LTE. Images are reproduced from a single experiment, but are representative findings of multiple staining experiments.
Copyright information:

Taken from "Synthesis of tenascin and laminin beta2 chain in human bronchial epithelial cells is enhanced by cysteinyl leukotrienes via CysLTreceptor"

http://respiratory-research.com/content/9/1/44

Respiratory Research 2008;9(1):44-44.

Published online 26 May 2008

PMCID:PMC2412865.

</p
