α‑Glucosidase Inhibitory Hydrolyzable Tannins from <i>Eugenia jambolana</i> Seeds

Abstract

Three new hydrolyzable tannins including two gallotannins, jamutannins A (<b>1</b>) and B (<b>2</b>), and an ellagitannin, iso-oenothein C (<b>3</b>), along with eight known phenolic compounds were isolated from the seeds of <i>Eugenia jambolana</i> fruit.
