Abstract
Novel enamine–metal Lewis acid bifunctional catalysts
were
successfully applied to the asymmetric Michael addition of ketones
to alkylidene malonates, offering excellent stereoselectivity (up
to >99% <i>ee</i> and >99:1 <i>dr</i>).
