ABSTRACI: Visual art teaching in general and vocational school is not same. h is especially
related to purposes, processes and instruction patterns. Thb realitycauses <ritrerent perspective
in applicatlon of instruction s)4stem in each school. This paper gves enlightenment for Msual
art teacher candidate that the general school stresses art leaming on a process and product
Skill of the visual art product is not the only purpose. lt is different from vocational school,
visual art means product. Product of art is more important than process. The purpces of
visual art learning in general school are increasing sensitivity, creativity, fluency in expression
in the materialaspect (product) and immaterial aspect (process).
