Upaya Peningkatan Pelaksanaan Shalat Dhuha Melalui Metode Demonstrasi Pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun

Abstract

This study aims to improve teacher learning is done in order to improve children\u27s ability to perform the prayer practice through demonstrsi method with the help of media images on children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Islam Al-Ikhwah Pontianak.This study used a descriptive method and form of action research conducted by 2 cycles, the first cycle 3 times as much as the second cycle meeting 2 meetings.Each cycle includes planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of this study concluded that an increase in children\u27s ability to practice prayers on the first cycle by 40% while in the second cycle increased to 80%. As per the results of the study can be given suggestions as follows: 1) The teacher should use the method of demonstration with the help of media images in prayer learning. 2) The teacher must be creative and innovative in managing learning, especially in improving the ability of the practice of prayer. 3) Teachers are expected to develop all aspects of learning and not on a particular aspect. 4) Teachers are expected to keep abreast of developments on the world of early childhood education in order to improve and develop learning activities
