Peningkatan Kemampuan Menulis Karangan Deskripsi dengan Pemanfaatan Lingkungan sebagai Sumber Belajar di Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

Essay Writing Capacity Utilization Description Environment as a Source of Learning in Elementary School Fifth Grade 07 Sebalo District of Bengkayang . This study aims to improve the ability of students to write essays description so that students can express their creativity through writing by using the environment as a learning resource utilization . The method used was action research , as researchers aim to provide solutions to problems faced by the teacher in the learning activities ( KBM ) . This study was conducted in 07 public elementary school fifth grade Sebalo the number of female students 11 while the number of male students 15 , the total number of 26 students . The results obtained in the first cycle with the use of environmental utilization showed an average increase in value . At pretest , the value of 64.6 . After the posttest increased to 75 ( > 65 KKM ) . Qualitatively , assessment questionnaire results showed that increasing the level of enthusiasm of the students and the students were able to focus more on learning because of the stage of essay writing is right for them
