Abstract
<p>Mice were treated with salbutamol (5 mg/kg, i.p.) 2 h before the experiment. In the beginning of the experiment (0 h), hind paw volumes were measured with a plethysmometer. After that, carrageenan (2%) or vehicle (control) was injected into the paw and the paw edema was measured with plethysmometer at the time points indicated. Edema is expressed as the difference between the volume changes of the carrageenan-treated paw and the control paw. Mean ± S.E.M., n = 6.
