Abstract
U ovom je radu prvi puta opisan rani razvoj ličinke krbavske gaovice (Delminichthys krbavensis). Jedinkama iz akvarijskog mrijesta izmjerene su i izbrojane osnovne morfometrijske i merističke karakteristike prema modificiranoj metodi Kovač (2000) kroz 51 dan praćenja nakon mrijesta. Najbrži rast je zabilježen u prvih 15 dana promatranja. Žumanjčana vreća kod svih jedinki nestaje do desetog dana nakon mrijesta. Otvaranje usta se događa deseti dan nakon izvaljivanja. Završetak formacije mekih perajnih šipčica događa četrdeseti dan nakon mrijesta. Dominacija preanalnog dijela tijela nad ukupnom duljinom ribe zbiva se kod svih ličinaka do četrnaest dana nakon mrijesta. Leđna i podrepna peraja u periodu promatranja ličinaka ostaju u kontinuitetu spojene sa repnom perajom. Broj mekanih perajnih šipčica odgovara holotipu.This paper describes the early life development of Krbava minnow. Basic morphometric and me-ristic measures of larvae from aquarium spawning were taken according to Kovač (2000) modi-fied method during 51 days of observation after spawning. The fastest growth was recorded in the first fifteen days from spawning. Yolk sac disappears until the tenth day after spawning. The opening of the mouth happens on the tenth day after hatching. The completion of the formation of soft ray fins happened on the fortieth day after spawning. Domination of the preanal body lenght over the total lenght of the fish takes place in all the larvae in fourteen days after spawning. The dorsal and anal fins of larvae remain continuously connected to the caudal fin in the period of observation. Number of soft ray fins corresponds holotype
