Abstract
Kod opisa strujnih krugova linijski integral sile po jediničnom naboju preko cijelog strujnog kruga naziva se elektromotorna sila. Pojam elektromotorne sile, iako pogrešan, ustalio se u upotrebi te se uz njega vežu brojne učeničke i edukatorske pogreške. Ideja rada je dati pregled svih detalja povezanih s opisom elektromotorne sile u strujnom krugu, opisati primjere iz svakodnevnog života te navesti i ukratko objasniti temeljne učeničke poteškoće vezane uz taj pojam. Također, rad je izrađen uz ideju da bude kao priručnik u kojem je sažeto sve što bi moglo koristiti studentima, nastavnicima i edukatorima u učenju i poučavanju koncepta elektromotorne sile.Through time the term electromotive force, although wrong, became commonly used and is applied in teaching with many misconceptions made by both students and teachers. While describing electric circuits, the line integral of a force per unit charge around the circuit is called electromotive force. The idea behind this thesis is to provide an overview of all details associated with electromotive force in the electric circuit, also to describe everyday examples and explain basic difficulties connected to the given term. Moreover, this thesis was created as a manual that provides a survey of everything that could be useful, regarding electromotive force, for students, teachers and other science educators
