Abstract

Epitopes predicted by bioinformatics and those reported in the literature for other organisms mapped to Onchocerca lupi paramyosin. Residues underlined indicate T-cell epitopes whilst those in bold indicate B-cell epitopes. Of the 874 predicted antibody epitopes, when compared with those predicted for Acanthocheilonema viteae, Brugia malayi, Dirofilaria immitis, Loa loa, Onchocerca volvulus and Wuchereria bancrofti, 621 were unique to Onchocerca lupi.
