Abstract
Today, modern electronics is developing at a rapid pace, and one of the areas of its development are printed circuit boards (PCs) with built-in electronic components (EC). The peculiarity of such boards is that the components are directly in the body of the GP. This feature requires new technological steps to create such DPs. In this paper an analysis of existing design and technological solutions for the creation of DP with built-in EC. On the basis of the analysis, a generalized classification of the DP with built-in EC, which includes the types of embedded EC, variants and methods of their placement in the body of the DP and the methods of contact and between the contact joints, is constructed. Based on the classification, the main advantages and disadvantages of the DP with built-in EC were highlighted
