Newspapers became one of the sources of information that includes news, whether it hard news or soft news. News of the shooting in Cebongan prison daily loaded on Joglosemar has seized public attention because it happened in prison and appeared in the international media. Not only that, this case indicates that in Indonesia are still many cases of human rights violations. Selection of newspapers Joglosemar selected taking into account that this newspaper has a cheaper price compared to the local newspaper in Solo, sort Solopos and know how quality with low price news text generated by Joglosemar. This study used a framing analysis, in order to know how the news framing formed by Joglosemar newspaper on March 24 2013-31 March 2013 edition. The results showed that the newspaper Joglosemar accentuate the news by putting the opinion of experts in the field of law and human rights, this case indicates serious impact on the field.
