This article presents a compilation of some Roman inscribed urns, almost all unpublished, found on websites of auction houses and international art galleries. These objects came mostly from Latium (Rome and Ostia in particular) or from Campania and were taken abroad probably during the Grand Tour. For each urn there are a detailed description of the object and a complete analysis of the text, which, in some cases, has provided us interesting information about the identity and the social role of some defuncts. This research aims to anticipate a larger work that the authors are developing on other Roman inscriptions found in the antiquarian market.L’ articolo presenta una serie di urne romane iscritte, per lo più inedite, avvistate sui siti web di case d’asta e gallerie d’arte internazionali. Si tratta di pezzi provenienti in gran parte dal Lazio (Roma e Ostia in particolare) o dalla Campania e che hanno lasciato l’Italia molto probabilmente ai tempi del Grand Tour. Per ogni urna viene data una descrizione dettagliata del supporto ed un’analisi completa del testo, che in alcuni casi fornisce interessanti informazioni su persone particolarmente importanti per la vita della comunità di origine. La ricerca anticipa un più ampio lavoro che gli autori stanno sviluppando su altre interessanti iscrizioni romane sempre dal mercato antiquario
