Abstract
Folklorni ples i glazba važan su dio kulture svakoga naroda. Prenošenjem tradicije „s koljena na koljeno“, mlađi naraštaji mogu spoznati kako se prije živjelo, odnosno koliki značaj je nekada imala glazba i ples. Na području Slavonije, svako društveno okupljanje bilo je popraćeno kolom i pjesmom. Glazbala su izrađivali pastiri na pašnjacima, dok se pjesmom otklanjala zamorenost od poslova poput vezenja i šivanja ruha, današnjih narodnih nošnji.
Tema su ovoga rada učenici primarnog obrazovanja koji su odlučili očuvati tradiciju svojih predaka odabirući folklorni ples kao izvanškolsku aktivnost. Cilj je bio utvrditi koliko učenika ima preferenciju prema ovoj izvanškolskoj aktivnosti, koji su razlozi odabira iste, te koje su im omiljene aktivnosti (pjesme, plesovi, igre) koje su naučili polazeći folklorni ples.
Istraživanje je provedeno tijekom svibnja 2015. godine postupkom anketiranja 32 učenika primarnog obrazovanja koji polaze folklorni ples u Kulturno-umjetničkom društvu „Šumari“ u Vinkovcima. Rezultati dobiveni anketiranjem ukazuju na to da je većina učenika kao razlog odabira ove aktivnosti navela ljubav prema plesu, što potvrđuje da su učenici svojevoljno odlučili polaziti folklorni ples. Zadovoljstvo polaznicima folklornog plesa čine i nastupi, tj. prilika da pokažu svojim najbližima pjesme, plesove i igre koju su naučili. Također, većina ispitanika smatra da bi i njihovi prijatelji iz razreda trebali polaziti folklorni ples zbog druženja, no i zbog razvijanja glazbenih sposobnosti.Traditional dance and music are very important part of every culture. Tradition handed down from generation to generation helps young people to perceive how people lived before, actually how significant music and dance were before. Every social gathering in Slavonia was followed by dancing kolo and singing. Musical instruments were made by shepherds, while songs helped people to relieve tiredness after sewing and embroidering attires. Nowadays, attires are known as traditional clothes.
The topic of this work refers to students of primary education who decided to maintain the tradition of their ancestors, so they chose to participate in extracurricular activity, which is VI traditional dance. The aim was to define how many students have preference for this extracurricular activity, what are the reasons for choosing this activity and which activities (songs, dances, games) students like the most.
The research has been conducted by a questionnaire of 32 primary school students who participate in traditional dance activity in Kulturno-umjetničkom društvu „Šumari“ from Vinkovci, during May 2015. The results have shown that the reason why students have chosen this activity is because they like dancing, therefore they probably applied to this activity independently. Traditional dance participants also enjoy appearances when they can show to their families all the songs, dances and games that they have learnt. Furthermore, most of the students agreed that their schoolmates should also participate in traditional dance activity, because it is enjoyable and they will develop their musical abilities
