Kućni ljubimci i odgoj i obrazovanje u dječjem vrtiću

Abstract

U radu su opisani počeci kućnih ljubimaca, kako se mijenjao odnos između čovjeka i životinja kroz povijest i kako su kućni ljubimci postali simbol modernog društva. Kako kućni ljubimac može biti dobar partner roditeljima u učenju empatije, suosjećanja, odgovornosti i poštovanja kod djece. Djeca koja odrastaju u obiteljima koje imaju životinje i ljubimce uglavnom se dobro upoznata s pravilnim postupanjem prema životinjama, dok oni koji nemaju ljubimce najčešće ne poznaju ta pravila. Cilj istraživanja bio je ispitati zastupljenost teme Kućni ljubimci u radu sa djecom u dječjem vrtiću. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo šest odgojiteljica dječjeg vrtića Radosno djetinjstvo Ivankovo. i samo jedna odgojiteljica ima radnog iskustva manje od 10 godina. Nakon obrade ankete od dobivenih rezultata stekla sam opći dojam o provođenju navedene teme u odabranom vrtiću. Tema se vrlo često koristi kao samostalna cjelina i u sklopu drugih tema i aktivnosti. Odgojiteljice su aktivne i dovode različite kućne ljubimce kako bi djeci tu temu učinile što zanimljivijom. Sve odgojiteljice na provođenje teme potaknuo je interes djece. Tri odgojiteljice smatraju da je tema primjerena jasličkoj skupini, pet odgojiteljica da je za mlađu skupinu, pet odgojiteljica za srednju skupinu, a svih šest odgojiteljica da se može provoditi sa starijom skupinom. Najveći problem pri provođenju teme predstavlja neadekvatan prostor i materijalni uvjeti. I samo je jedna odgojiteljica provela projekt na tu temu. Odgojiteljice su zainteresirane na navedenu temu, jer su u anketi navele dosta načina na koji bi se tema mogla provesti. Stoga vjerujem da će temu i dalje provoditi i koristiti neke od aktivnosti i ideja koje su navele u anketi.This paper describes the beginnings of pets, how the relationship between men and animals evolved and changed through history and how pets became symbol of modern society. How a pet can be a good partner to parents in teaching their children to show empathy, sympathy, responsibility and respect. Children that grow up in families, which have animals and pets, are mainly well familiar with correct treatment of animals, whilst those without animals generally do not know these rules.Aim of this survey was to examine the representation of the topic "Pets" in working with children at a kindergarten. Six nursery school teachers from kindergarten Radosno djetinjstvo Ivankovo have participated in this survey and only one has less than 10 years of work experience. Having processed the survey, I somehow got a general impression on the implementation of this topic at a selected kindergarten. Educators are active and bring various pets to make that subject more interesting to children. The interest of children for that subject made the educators to conduct that particular subject. This topic is very often used as an independent unit and within other topics and activities. It is implemented with all groups, while being the most common with the older group. Three educators consider that the subject is appropriate for the day nursery group, five of them think it is appropriate for younger group, other five educators are in favor of middle group, however, all six educators agree that it can be implemented with older group. The biggest issues with topic implementation are inadequate facilities and material conditions. Only one nursery school teacher has conducted a project with the abovementioned topic. Nursery school teachers are interested in the mentioned topic, because, in the survey, they have mentioned many ways how this topic could be implemented. Thus, I believe that they will continue to implement this topic and use some of the activities that they have mentioned in the survey
