本发明公开了一种水润滑环境耐磨涂层、其制备方法及应用。所述制备方法包括:采用非平衡磁控溅射系统,在经预处理后的基体表面沉积复合梯度过渡层,其包括在基体表面依次形成的Cr过渡层、Cr-WC过渡层和WC-C过渡层;采用非平衡磁控溅射系统,通过同时溅射石墨靶并离化乙炔气体而在所述复合梯度过渡层共沉积形成氢化非晶碳基薄膜层。本发明采用复合梯度过渡层与表面氢化非晶碳基固体润滑薄膜有机结合的设计,大幅提升了表面非晶碳基薄膜的硬度、耐磨损性能,有效克服了非晶碳基薄膜的水分子敏感性,使之在水环境表现出优异摩擦磨损性能,可显著降低工作于水基流体介质中机械运动基础件的摩擦系数和磨损速度,广泛适用于各类水力流体机械系统
