El Archivo Franciscano Ibero-Oriental cuenta con una importante colección de
mapas y planos referentes al archipiélago filipino que no habían sido tenidos en cuenta
hasta ahora. Su extensión cronológica y topográfica lo convierte en un fondo de gran
interés para el estudio de la representación territorial en Filipinas, especialmente desde el
punto de vista de las órdenes religiosas.The Franciscan Ibero-Oriental Archive has an important collection of maps and
plans of the Philippine archipelago that have not been taken into account until now. Its
chronological and topographical extension have made it a collection of great interest for
