The interaction between space atmosphere and human behavior was highly influenced by interior design factors as well as the dominant characters of the people interacting in it. As the quality of an environment, the space atmosphere becomes an input for people, which is then converted by the people into perception and their behaviors as the output. The atmosphere of a public mall is the resultant of interior physical components, such as the activities of visitors and staff in it as well as the social interactions coming up with it. They become stimulants for the behavior as the part of the space atmosphere itself. As the stimulants, the space atmosphere created will influence human perception, cognition and motivational processes in their individual personality systems, which then create responds towards the space atmosphere actualized in their behaviors and activities
