The “Hakka” Consistency In Architecture Transformation Of Culture Case Study: Kampung Gedong In Bangka.

Abstract

Culture, physical form, and mechanism, are the three aspects where an architecture was built. Kampung Gedong as one of Chinese Settlement in Bangka province, also affected by culture which is caused the transformation of physical form of architecture, from the origin Hakka Earthenbuilding in China to new architecture form of Kampung Gedong. The adaptation from some local traditions brings a new face of Kampung Gedong whether some of Hakka traditions still be followed by Kampung Gedong society. It is why the Hakka tradition always be consistence in different type of architectural form
