Penggunaan Tugas Mind Mind sebagai Instrumen Penilaian Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis pada Materi Fungsi Kuadrat

Abstract

This study aims to determinethe student\u27s mathematical communication skill in quadratic function problem of the students class X SMAN 1 Sungai Raya by using learning method mind mapping. The research method have been used in descriptive method with survey approach. This study used 29 students in class XD for the subject research. Data collection method for this study used three approachs, there are written test that disclosed within problemsof mathematical communication, indirect communication that is the task of creating a mind map of the problems quadratic functions, and direct communication through structured interviews. Based on the data analysis, the result of this study showed that the students\u27 mathematical communication skills by using learning method mind mapping ona quadratic function problemsin class X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya are in the low category(40.22%)
