Peningkatan Keterampilan Membaca Puisi dengan Menggunakan Metode Latihan di Kelas V Sdn Sungai Raya

Abstract

Poetry reading skills by using this training method is implemented with the aim to improve the skills in reading poems by using training method in Fifth Grade of Elementary School 20 Sungai Raya, Kubu Raya regency of West Kalimantan province. This research uses the descriptive qualitative approach. The type of research which is used is a classroom action research to 30 students with a composition of 12 male students and 18 female students. Based on performance indicators poetry reading skill improvement is 54.76% in the first cycle and in the second cycle have increased to 89.99%. This indicates that learning which uses training method in Fifth Grade of Elementary School 20 Sungai Raya, Kubu Raya gives effect on the activities of reading poetry skills
