Inclusive education and initial formation of the teachers: Evaluation of a didactic innovation based on the cinematographic production from the perspective of the student

Abstract

Este artículo presenta la evaluación de una propuesta didáctica (ECTS) desarrollada en la materia de Bases Pedagógicas de la Educación Especial en la Universidad de Málaga. Como aspecto innovador adopta una organización cooperativa del aprendizaje en la Educación Superior. La experiencia consiste en la “Realización y proyección de un documental” de forma cooperativa por parte del alumnado. En ella, participan un total de 142 estudiantes (86 mujeres y 56 hombres) de las titulaciones de Maestro/a de Educación Especial y de Educación Física. La investigación evaluativa se fundamenta teóricamente en los modelos centrados en la evaluación del cambio organizacional. Sus objetivos generales son explorar el bienestar subjetivo que manifiesta el alumnado con la propuesta y conocer su impacto formativo en la educación inclusiva. El estudio sigue un diseño descriptivo combinando una metodología cuantitativa y cualitativa. Los resultados del estudio indican que el alumnado considera la propuesta novedosa, original y motivadora. Se sienten gratamente compensados y satisfechos tras los resultados finales obtenidos. Las estructuras organizativas de aprendizaje cooperativo son percibidas por el alumnado como originales. La satisfacción del alumnado con el trabajo grupal e individual se basa en aspectos que están relacionados con la responsabilidad que asumen con ellos mismos y con el apoyo al grupo. En cuanto al impacto formativo, la evaluación de la experiencia pone de manifiesto que la propuesta permite a) poner en práctica valores y procesos clave para la educación inclusiva, b) desglosar las características del aprendizaje autónomo en las experiencias ECTS y c) descubrir elementos clave como las pautas didácticas y las tareas de andamiaje. A lo que se suma la posibilidad de aproximarnos al tiempo real invertido en la realización de la tarea para poder trasladar dicha práctica al nuevo sistema de créditos europeo.This paper presents the evaluation of a didactic proposal (ECTS), developed in the subject of Pedagogical Bases of Special Education at the University of Malaga (Spain). Innovation is the organization of cooperative learning in higher education. The experience is the "Making and screening of a documentary film" through a cooperative methodology. a total of 142 students admitted in the degrees of Teacher a Special Education and Teacher of Physical Education. The study is based on models that focus on the evaluation of organizational change. The general objectives of the evaluation are exploring the subjective well-being expressed by the students with the proposal and its impact training for inclusive education. The research follows a descriptive design combining quantitative and qualitative methodology. The study results indicate that students believed the proposed new and original and inspirational. They are nicely balanced and satisfied after the final results obtained. The evaluation shows that the organizational structures of cooperative learning are perceived by students as original. Satisfaction with individual and group work is based on aspects that are related to the responsibility of themselves and the group. The evaluation indicates that the proposal allows for implementing key processes and values in inclusive education. Describe the characteristics of self-directed learning in ECTS. The results indicate two important elements: didactic instruction and scaffolded instruction. The results indicate the actual time invested in learning. This allows the practice to move to the new European credit system
