Abstract
Los fondos documentales de la Congregación del Oratorio de San Felipe Neri de Granada han permitido recabar nuevos datos en torno al origen, evolución e intervenciones de la talla de la Virgen de los Dolores de José de Mora. Se trata de una de las obras cumbre no sólo de la Escuela granadina, sino también del arte del Barroco español, cuya original configuración acabaría por consolidar un tipo iconográfico de gran repercusión en la escultura andaluza del periodo siguiente.The documentary collections of the Congregation of the Oratory of Saint Philip Neri of Granada have allowed us to gather new information about the origin, evolution and changes of the sculpture of Our Lady of Sorrows by José de Mora. It is one of the masterpieces, not only of the School of Art of Granada, but also of all the Spanish Baroque. Its original configuration would end up consolidating an iconographic type of great repercussion in the Andalusian sculpture of the following period
