Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo por objetivo indagar a través de distintas organizaciones sociales de la ciudad de Bogotá, sobre el impacto que tienen la militarización y el militarismo en las subjetividades de los jóvenes frente a la posible creación de un servicio social alterno al servicio militar obligatorio en Colombia, partiendo de la experiencia de cuatro organizaciones relacionadas con los temas de derechos humanos en jóvenes. Para tal fin, se usó una metodología cualitativa en con un enfoque basado en la comprensión y profundización de los fenómenos alrededor de la construcción de las subjetividades juveniles, explorándolas desde la perspectiva de los sujetos, y relacionándola con el contexto del militarismo en Colombia. De esta forma se realizó un grupo focal con las cuatro organizaciones abordando el impacto de la militarización y el militarismo; el Servicio Militar Obligatorio; subjetividades, redes y contexto; y sus proyecciones acerca del Servicio Social Alternativo. Finalmente se identificaron los diferentes impactos que generan estos fenómenos, la tendencia clasista dentro del ordenamiento del SMO que resulta beneficioso para las instituciones militares, así como la violación de derechos fundamentales hacia los jóvenes, la viabilidad y justificación de plantear una opción alterna al SMO y las proyecciones de las organizaciones respecto a las necesidades sociales del país. Finalmente, se plantearon retos, mínimos y condiciones básicas de un servicio social para Colombia.This research work to investigate through different social organizations from Bogota about the impact of militarization and militarism on the subjectivities of young people in the face of the possible creation of an alternative social service to Mandatory military service in Colombia, based on the experience of four organizations related to human rights issues in youth. To that end, a qualitative methodology was used in an approach based on the understanding and deepening of the phenomena around the construction of young subjectivities, exploring them from the perspective of the subjects, and relating it to the context of militarism in Colombia. In this way a focus group was carried out with the four organizations talking about the impact of militarization and militarism; The Mandatory Military Service; Subjectivities, networks and context; and their projections about Alternative Social Service. Finally, some aspects were identified as the different impacts generated by these phenomena, the class tendency into the Mandatory Military Service that is beneficial for military institutions, and the violation of fundamental rights towards young people, the feasibility and justification of proposing an alternative option to the Mandatory Military Service and the projections of the organizations regarding the social needs of the country.
