Pemilihan model pembelajaran yang tepat pada suatu pembelajaran, peran serta keaktifan peserta didik harus selalu diciptakan agar kreativitas muncul. Pada beberapa teori dikatakan bahwa, ada model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan kreativitas. Pada materi desain poster, kreativitas dibutuhkan agar dapat menghasilkan karya poster yang lebih kreatif dari pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini berfokus pada proses pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan hasil poster dari pembelajaran dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran yang sebelumnya pernah dilaksanakan di Taman Bacaan Sanggar JANIKA. Adapun perumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) Bagaimana proses model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dalam merancang desain poster di Taman Bacaaan Sanggar JANIKA? (2) Bagaimana hasil poster model pembelajaran berbasis masalah di Taman Bacaaan Sanggar JANIKA? Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif deskriptif melalui pendekatan teknik analisis hasil karya menggunakan model kajian estetik. Landasan penelitian menggunakan teori dan konsep yang berkenaan dengan ilmu Desain Komunikasi Visual (DKV) meliputi pengertian poster, unsur-unsur seni rupa dan prinsip poster sedangkan pada model pembelajaran meliputi teori langkah-langkah model pembelajaran, bagaimana pelaksanaan model pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa model pembelajaran menonjolkan peserta didik agar menemukan masalah dan memecahkannya dalam diskusi kelompok. Sehingga peran peserta didik lebih aktif dari guru, pada karya poster yang dihasilkan lebih kreatif dari model pembelajaran yang biasa dilaksanakan di sanggar yaitu model ekspositori atau ceramah. Penelitian ini dapat memberikan gambaran terhadap pengaruh treatment dapat meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik pada suatu pembelajaran baik pembelajaran desain poster maupun pada materi yang lainnya untuk masyarakat khususnya untuk pendidik

Selection of the right model of learning in a study, the role and the liveliness of the learners should always be created so that creativity can be arise. On some theories said that problem-based learning model can increase creativity. On poster design creativity is required in order to produce more creative posters besides conventional learning. This research focuses on the process of problem-based learning and learning posters from the results compared to the previous learning model has been implemented in the garden Reading and Art Studio JANIKA. Formulation of the problems in this study are: (1) how the process model-based learning problems in designing poster design in the garden Reading and Art Studio JANIKA? (2) How the results-based learning model poster problems in the garden Reading workshop and Art Studio JANIKA? The research method used descriptive qualitative approach through analysis of aesthetic studies. Cornerstone research using theories and concepts of Visual Communication Design (DKV) includes the sense of the poster, the elements and principles of art posters, learning model includes the theory of the learning model steps, how implementation of the learning model. Based on the results of the research noted that the model of learning accentuate the learners to find the problem and solve it in discussion groups. The role of active learners from teachers more creative, on the work of the poster generated more creative than the usual learning model implemented that is the model expository or lectures. This research can give an idea that influence of the treatment can increase the creativity of learners at learning poster design and another content to the community especially for educators.
