Abstract

La presente investigación trata de mostrar la velocidad en la descarga y procesamiento de imágenes, a través de la plataforma de Google Earth Engine y la utilización de esta herramienta para el análisis información geoespacial. La plataforma Earth Engine proporciona un acceso sencillo basado en la web a un extenso catálogo de imágenes satelitales y otros datos geoespaciales en un formato listo para el análisis. A través de Scripts generados con la API de JavaScript. Este documento presenta paso a paso la generación de la información para la delimitación del borde del espejo de agua, entre los años 2013 y 2020, a través de la plataforma y un el filtro aplicado de Índice de extracción de agua automatizada (AWEIsh), a las imágenes descargadas. Para después en ERDAS generar una clasificación no supervisada y posteriormente la transformación del ráster a polígono para la delimitación de la ciénaga a través de los años.1.
