Con el desarrollo de este Trabajo de Fin de Grado pretendo plasmar la situación que
les tocó vivir a las mujeres en el final del Medievo; su posición de marginación social que, en
diversas situaciones, las abocaron a la pobreza y a la prostitución al ser víctimas de vejaciones
y violaciones. Posiciones de sumisión en las que el padre y el marido tenían el derecho de
maltratar a sus hijas o a su esposa y de dirigir sus destinos. Sin embargo esta situación de
violencia tuvo respuesta por parte de las mujeres que, al amparo de las leyes de la época,
hicieron frente a las humillaciones y los ultrajes de las que fueron víctimas por parte los
hombres tanto en el ámbito familiar como vecinal.This end of degree project pretends to reflect the situations women had to go through
at the end of The Middle Ages; their position of social marginalization which quite regularly
led them to poverty and prostitution as they were victims of humiliation and rape and the
position of forced submissiveness as a result of the socially-accepted right by which the father
and husband could abuse their daughter or wife and direct their destiny. However, women
faced this violent situation courageously and supported by the laws of that period, dealt with
