ISDN与Internet的网络互联

Abstract

多媒体网络通信已经开始影响到人类社会生活的方方面面,以她为标志的新的通信时代即将到来。而目前,现行的电信网络仍将发挥很重要的作用,作为一种过渡,网络互联-尤其是电信网与Internet的互联会有极广阔的前景。本论文从系统的角度全面的论述了ISDN与Internet网络互联系统的设计与实现。论文选择PC机作为平台,在深入分析了操作系统的I/O子系统与网络子系统之后,提出了网络互联的设计方案。然后,分别从硬件与驱动程序两个方面介绍了在Windows95与Windows NT环境中的实现过程,其中涉及到硬件的设计与测试的讨论,网络驱动程序的开发方法,Winodws平台上的诸多关键技术以及呼叫控制协议的实现方法。最后,论文从应用的角度讨论了网络互联中数据与话音两种多媒体应用的实现,介绍了相关的协议与处理技术,并提出了相应的系统设计。文末,展望了近几年的ISDN与Internet网络互联的发展方向,给出了一个具有现实意义的商用系统的解决方案。文章围绕网络互联系统的实现,根据自己的理解,系统总结了当前主要操作系统环境下网络互联的开发思路与方法。Today, multimedia network communication is coming to the everyday life of human society, and has become a representative of new communication era. Nevertheless, the present telecommunication network will still take an important role for a long time. The internetwork between heterogeneous network-specially between telecommunication network and Internet-will be of great significance. This paper discusses the design and implementation of internetwork between ISDN and Internet in detail. First, we will analyze the I/O and network architecture of operating system. Following it, a design of internetwork system on PC is proposed. Then, we will take a bird's view of the implementation in Windows 95 and Windows NT, including hardware design and test, develop methods of network driver, some important programming technology of Windows and implementation of call control protocols. Finally, we discuss data and speech applications in the internetwork, and give out a design surpporting both of them. Related specifications and process methods are also introduced. The paper is closed with the prospect of the advance of internetwork between ISDN and Internet, and an introduction of a business solution of internetwork. This thesis focuses on the implementation of internetwork system. Author systematically summarizes the strategy and method of internetwork system developing under popular operating system
