T r o l l i n g  and s t i l l  f i s h i n g  was conducted du r ing  d a y l i g h t  
hours .  L i g h t s  were used a t  n i g h t  t o  a t t r a c t  f i s h .  
B i o l o g i s t s  tagged and r e l e a s e d  28 P a c i f i c  b o n i t o ,  35 
C a l i f o r n i a  bar racuda ,  1 wh i t e  seabass  and 1 P a c i f i c  mackerel .  
I n c i d e n t a l  f i s h e s  caught  inc luded:  k e l p  b a s s ,  ParaZabrm 
c k t h r a t u s ;  sand b a s s ,  PmaZabrax nebuli fer;  w h i t e  c roake r ,  
Genyonemus Zineatus ; queen f i s h ,  Seriphus politus ;. b a t  r a y ,  
Myliobatis californica; and s c u l p i n ,  Scorpaena guttata.
