Morfometric characterization and diagnosis of the water resource in the micro watershed rio lindo in the township of Viotá, Cundinamarca

Abstract

El municipio de Viotá, en el departamento de Cundinamarca posee una gran riqueza hídrica dentro de la región del Tequendama y uno de sus principales ríos es el Rio lindo, el cual presta múltiples servicios a la población dado que sus aguas se utilizan para el abastecer a la comunidad, para riego de cultivos, como receptor de aguas residuales, entre otros. Teniendo en cuenta lo anterior, se determinaron las características morfometricos de la micro cuenca como: tipo de drenaje, pendiente media, área, perímetro, Factor de forma, entre otros y posteriormente se determinó el índice de escasez que permitió determinar la relación entre la oferta y demanda por actividad agrícola, pecuaria y doméstica en la micro cuenca, estableciendo así el diagnóstico del recurso hídrico en la micro cuenca asociado a los factores económicos, sociales y naturales que convergen en esta unidadThe township of Viotá, in the department of Cundinamarca has a great water wealth within the region of Tequendama and one of its main rivers is the Rio Lindo, which provides multiple services to the population since its waters are used to supply the community, for crop irrigation, as a receiver of sewage water, among others.
