Incidence of the Work of Recoverers ex Officio in the Management and Integral Management of Solid Household Waste in the City Of Bogotá

Abstract

La presente investigación busca evidenciar, desde una perspectiva socioambiental, la incidencia que tienen los recuperadores de oficio en el reciclaje y disposición final de residuos sólidos domiciliarios en la ciudad de Bogotá. Para el estudio de esto, se analizaron procesos institucionales, porcentajes de residuos sólidos domiciliarios aprovechados por los recuperadores de oficio, así como también la importancia de la labor emprendida por estos. Las metodología se basa en un enfoque cuantitativo, con carácter descriptivo, donde a través de la aplicación de herramientas se realizó la recolección de información que enmarcan análisis de contenido y revisión documental, las cuales permitieron evidenciar que la incidencia de los recuperadores de oficio dentro de la disposición final de los residuos sólidos es significativa, ya que evitan que estos residuos lleguen al relleno sanitario y se logre disminuir el grado de contaminación por desperdicio. Por otro lado, se expuso que la importancia de la labor emprendida por los recuperadores de oficio es alta debido no solo al uso y manejo del reciclaje para evitar contaminación, sino también debido al emprendimiento de la conciencia ambiental que estos manejan.The present research seeks to demonstrate, from a socioenvironmental perspective, the effect that recoverers have on the recycling and final disposal of solid household waste in the city of Bogotá. In that sense, institutional processes were analyzed, percentages of household solid waste used by the recoverers, as well as the importance of the work undertaken by these. The methodology is based on a quantitative approach, with a descriptive character, where through the application of tools the collection of information was carried out that frame content analysis and documentary revision, which made it possible to show that the incidence of the recuperadores of office within The final disposal of solid wastes is significant, as they prevent these residues from reaching the landfill and reduce the degree of pollution by waste. On the other hand, it was pointed out that the importance of the work undertaken by self-catering recuperators is high not only due to the use and management of the recycling to avoid contamination, but also due to the environmental awareness that they handle
