Este trabajo de investigación tiene como eje central la descripción de cómo los gobiernos de Ecuador y Venezuela han profundizado el modelo presidencialista durante los mandatos de Rafael Correa y Hugo Chávez, haciendo un acercamiento a los medios de comunicación y la validación de las transformaciones políticas, que han permitido en fortalecimiento del ejecutivo. Se describen las reformas constitucionales, los procesos de reelección y los momentos de crisis de los dos gobiernos, 2002 en Venezuela y 2010 en Ecuador.This research work has as a central axis the description of how the governments of Ecuador and Venezuela have deepened the presidential model during the mandates of Rafael Correa and Hugo Chávez, making an approach to the media and the validation of political transformations, which Have allowed in strengthening the executive.
